Internal Quality Assurance Cell
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) is an important institutional mechanism for maintaining and continuously improving the quality of academic and administrative activities. The IQAC works towards creating a culture of quality consciousness, continuous improvement, transparency, and accountability within the institute.
Objectives of IQAC
- To develop and maintain quality standards in teaching-learning and academic activities.
- To promote continuous improvement in institutional processes and practices.
- To collect and analyze feedback from students and other stakeholders.
- To encourage innovative and effective teaching-learning methods.
- To monitor academic and administrative performance.
- To support faculty development, seminars, workshops, and training programmes.
- To promote a learner-centric and outcome-based education system.
- To maintain proper documentation of quality-related activities.
- To identify areas requiring improvement and suggest appropriate corrective measures.
- To prepare and maintain quality-related reports and records as required.
Major Activities
The IQAC coordinates activities such as academic reviews, student feedback, faculty development programmes, quality improvement initiatives, institutional documentation, and periodic assessment of academic and administrative processes.
