Student Counselor Committee
The Student Counsellor Committee is constituted to facilitate effective coordination between the institution and students and to support the smooth academic and institutional functioning of the institute.
Objectives
- To maintain effective communication and coordination between students and the institution.
- To understand and address students’ academic and institutional concerns.
- To provide appropriate guidance and counselling to students.
- To promote a positive, disciplined and supportive academic environment.
- To facilitate communication of students’ suggestions and concerns to the appropriate authority.
Major Functions
- Provide guidance and counselling to students regarding academic and institutional matters.
- Maintain regular interaction with students and understand their concerns.
- Facilitate communication between students and the concerned faculty/administration.
- Help students in resolving routine academic and institutional difficulties.
- Encourage students to maintain discipline and participate actively in institutional activities.
- Guide students regarding appropriate institutional mechanisms for addressing grievances.
- Promote a healthy and supportive learning environment.
- Coordinate with the concerned departments and authorities whenever student-related issues require further attention.
